When you recieve a reply, it is up to you to research each Doctor on their treatments and success rates. To be able to do this, you may want to join your area's Lyme support group. Members will know first hand and will share their experiences with you.
If you have questions, and I know you will, please feel free to post on lymenet. Be sure to utilize the search engine function. Lymenet members are the smartest people on the planet when it comes to tick borne infections. Good luck on your healing journey.
I will send you a private message.

I don't know of any good lyme specialist near you. Be prepared to travel a good distance to get good care.
As Bonnie said, when you get names from ILADS do NOT assume that these doctors are good or experienced in treating lyme. They are simply doctors near you who have told ILADS that they treat lyme disease.
Lyme support groups are your best source of information for doctors local to you. At least half of all lyme patients travel out of state for their care. So, you may have to do that also.
Welcome to LymeNet! We will help you here all we can.
