Hi Everyone,

Okay, so for a while whenever I get a medicine that says on the bottle "This medicine may be taken with or without food" I always start singing the U2 song "With or Without You" but with new lyrics. So I finally sat down with the REAL lyrics and made up some new ones! Give it a try! Take a song you know, look up the lyrics (I suggest using A-Z Lyrics if you're looking up fairly contemporary or well known artists), and go crazy making up some new ones about health stuff! Kind of like an extension of the Lyme Christmas carols that pop up every December.

Here's my new lyrics:

"With or Without Food"

See my prescription's almost gone
Walk `cross the room, pick up the phone
To call in a refill

Grab my keys, go to the door
Head out to the drug store
To get my refill

Refills left: two
Refills left: two

When I get there, they make me wait
Finally get it an hour late
And the instructions tell me

With or without food
With or without food
I can take it
With or without food

So I take it with some food
Yeah, I take it with some food
With some food
With some food
Yeah, I take it with some food

So I can choose
How it is I want this med used
To take it with food or
Take it all alone

So, I take it with some food
Yeah, I take it with some food
With some food
With some food
Yeah, I take it with some food

With or without food
With or without food
I can take it
With or without food

With or without food
With or without food
I can take it
With or without food
With or without food

Anyone else have one?

--Annie

Very nice!

Here's a pdf for a chart to a tune I wrote to set Chazmyn's poem about all the noble individual who have helped, are helping, and will help, those suffering from lyme etc.
And Herethe complete lyrics (the entire poem!), written out - I'm not sure what font you'll get, though- might depend on your reader version. You probably need the oldest version possible of acrobat reader, or perhaps, ghostscript...
Eventually, I'll get the soumd up, but, you know-- "too little time, too much to do".

I've always thought the Dwight Yoakum (or Queen for you rock fans) song "A Crazy Little Thing Called Love" could be rewritten as " A Crazy Little Thing Called Lyme".
I'm just not a songwriter

I have been know to sing "Oh, I'll never ever get better ever again" to the tune of "She'll Be Comin' 'Round The Mountian" when I get frustrated!
