LICORICE ROOT EXTRACT -- Informational Links set

For reasons below, suggesting ONLY THIS VERY SPECIFIC BRAND - ZAGARESE.

Occasionally, the pellets may have a tiny rough spot. Don't "play" with it in your mouth until it's melted down for a minute.

www.tahomadispensary.com/store

Tahoma Clinic Dispensary search for:

Zagarese 100% Organic Licorice, Original, 0.88 Ounce - Flip Top Box - $5.85

Zagarese licorice is made in Italy using only the finest southern Italian organically grown licorice plant root.

Zagarese website:

www.thelicoricecompany.com/

The Organic LICORICE Company

What is DGL - and why should I be concerned about GL?

Excerpt:

. . . Zagarese licorice comes from a species (glycyrrhiza glabra) grown in the southern part of Italy. Its natural glycyrrhizin content is only about 5%, so there is no need to deglycyrrhizinate it.

The Zagarese company has been producing pure licorice extract as its sole product since 1886, using only organic methods of cultivation. . . .

also found at Amazon. I can't post the full link, so search by name

DGL is another matter, actually and can be of help to soothe GI tract.

But, with such a low GL in Zagarese, I prefer that.

BEST help to calm a cough - it's fine to fall asleep with one pellet in your mouth. Although, due to its dark color, probably not a good habit but once in a while to calm cough the color should not matter too much. Rinse & switch later.

Also can satisfy a "sweet tooth" in a safe way. One tiny little pellet packs a nice full treat. Yet it supports a healthy mouth.
