SQUATTY POTTY Wants To Revolutionize Toilet Sitting

- by Nate C. Hindman - The Huffington Post - 1-23-2014

Article, 3-minute video, links

www.brookstone.com search for:

The Original SQUATTY POTTY

7 Inch: 20"L x 11.5"W x 7"H; 2 lbs

9 Inch: 20"L x 12"W x 9"H; 3 lbs

Also at Bed Bath & Beyond, etc. LOCAL stores . . .

Safety features outlined in Amazon photos below, non-slip, etc. Note that "other" styles may or may not be wide enough and might not have the same safety features. Reviews do help.

Plastics & vinyl often smells and some can be sensitive to that off-gassing that can also be endocrine disruptive to anyone, whether they detect smells or not. Much has to do with how a product is "cured" though. Read reviews.

Also realize, though, that the manufacturing of any plastics contribute to climate change. When possible, best to opt for materials that are renewable (like cork, from tree bark that will grow back).

www.amazon.com - search various models

Squatty Potty

Step'n'Squat

easyGOpro 7.5 inch - 17 Customer Reviews & photos

Dr. Flo-Pro Toilet Stool, 8" Universal Toilet Step

but two YOGA BLOCKS may work if one has those on hand - legs can be further apart than with other styles and height changed as needed -- 9" X 6" X 4

I find that two YOGA BLOCKS fit nicely across the top back of toilet to be out of the way and inconspicuous when not in use, yet within reach at a moment's notice.

Cork is better for the planet, in so many ways.

www.amazon.com - search Amazon & other places (local shops, too):

Two Cork blocks for $21. HemingWeigh brand

100% Eco-Friendly, made without any toxic chemicals produced in their harvesting

Great links. This is so overlooked. I know a subset of lyme patients would get significantly better if they just were able to expel all feces.

Thanks for this Keebs! I use a little step stool. Amazing that they didn't come up with this sooner!
