CHLORELLA & SPIRULINA -- INFORMATIONAL LINKS

Intended as an information links set - easier to then add just this link (and not a long string of articles) to various discussion threads.

If there are questions / discussion feel free to start your own thread so your concerns can be more fully addressed.

I hope all will feel welcome to add to this for a fuller collection of articles / books - or any specifically notable points from others' works or your own experiences.

Notable point: copper consideration, see the sections on that in the articles if one has high copper.

And, as with anything concentrated, start with a low amount, slowly -- and usually with other foods at first just so it's not a shock to they body.

Interesting, I didn't realize spirulina was like chlorella in that it chelates metals...

Shouldn't chelating be under supervision of a doc? I know my doc was leery of me doing that now...she was afraid it would move metals from my brain.

So now I'm kind of afraid to use any kind of chealator.

The articles explain how it works.

It's not like the harsher more chemical chelators with DMSA, EDTA, or IV therapy. Garlic, itself, helps move out heavy metals. Other foods can, too. Chlorella and Spirulina are foods with distinctive - yet gentle - nutrient properties.

Hey Keebs, glad you posted this. I use both, Spirulina pills and Chorella powder while fasting. Fasted without them too and prefer the combo.

For me I noticed less anxiety and a tad more stable blood sugar.

I do juice fasting and add the powder to it. Kinda perks me up a bit too.

An aside to previous post. Where one thing we might be doing might need to be stopped for a while to see how we do without it, how else to supply both excellent nutrients and health benefits?

It got me wondering, searching and finding this:

The quality, the source matters, of course. Be certain of the source, their methods, etc. I really like what I get, both Chlorella & Spirulina from
