I have been sick since 1987 with Chronic Fatigue. My DR is not LL but he ordered the Igenex tests for me. He called me with some of the results. He said IGG positive 31kda 34 kda 39 kda 41 kda and 93 kda equivocal. Does this look like lyme could be what has made me so sick? I have had lots of ticks I live in TN. Most of my worsts symptoms are all over weakness and a flu achiness, and excessisve spacy/sleepiness. The sleepiness has been so bad I could hardly take a bath and that would be after sleeping all day . I have tested high for Epstein Barr, and Cytomegalovirus. Would these cross react with any of this western blot? I have tried reading about this but just don't comprehend very good. Please any information would be appreciated.

Sandy, I am not an expert but I would bet that you probably have lyme or a co-infection, or some of both..You need to read some previous posts on the Igenex test results..
If you go to the starting screen for flash discussion and look under the dedication, it will say lyme net flash or something like that..Under that will be 4 or 5 words..
Click on search..The next screen will permit you to type in words in a blank box..You could do Igenex or Western Blot and should get many results..
Good luck..Probably one of the experts will be on soon and give you a better answer..
You also need to find Treepatrol and Tincup's info for new members..It is a wealth of knowledge.lymemomtooo

I am not a doctor, but I would say there is no question that you have Lyme. I hope you will find an LLMD right away so you will have the best chance possible at recovery.
Thank goodness your MD was smart enough to order the test for you!
More information on reading the Western Blot. You may want to print this out and take it to your MD.

No, but if you've had Lyme for a long time, then these viruses have the opportunity to take over. It is very common for Lyme patients to have these.
