I debated whether to post this in medical or general. I chose medical because it gives a better understanding of how this disease is thought of in the medical community.
The subject I posted is the title of an article in our Sunday paper today. The word "chronic" is in quotes throughout the article. This bothers me....anyone else?
Also, the first line of the article reads, " Antibiotics have been so effective in wiping out all traces of Lyme disease infections that doctors haven't always believed people who said they still suffered for months or even years."
I hope good things come out of Johns Hopkins but I found the tone of the article a little disturbing. Basically they say that after a course of ABX some people continue to have symptoms.....no $hit.
I'm not sure how you are going to focus on "chronic" lyme if you don't properly address "current" lyme.
