Hi
This is month 6 of rophine + mepron+zith, 3 months of flagyl. I had been having the classical lyme symptom cycle every 28 days up until last month. Now some of the old symptoms that had gone away are coming back at random but daily intervals. Examples are veritgo, headache, foot pain, migrating joint pain.

My question is have many people had this type of reaction or is the course of drugs no longer effective and a change needed?

I am a late stage case with initial confirmed Lyme infection 8 years ago with pre-existing babesia but no initial treatment until 4-5 weeks IV 1.5 year ago followed by 9 mo or so of orals. ... Ultimately relapsed badly by december 2003.

Lately, the initial treatment side effects first noticed during the initial treatment have started to re-occur, ie wierd and vivid dreams, as well as the psycological effects and atypical entire head headaches.

Maybe this indicates that a new way of Lysis is occuring but I don't know.

Any experiences or ideas?

Thank you.
