My llmd had me on Trimox, Biaxin XL, and Ceftin(total -4,000mg a day) since Feb.
Did pretty good until new stresses with breakup in June and very ill parents.
Now llmd just put me on Ceftin twice a day and Ketek. Just been taking it for two days now.
Thanks for trying to help me. I still feel about the same. Just hope I start realizing how lucky I am ; I mean it could be worse.

Hey Green..

You are guilty!

No doubt.

You fell under the stresses of life's pressures.

It's no wonder!

BIG stress does make one's immune system go down the hill... and we then suffer.

I am sorry you have to force yourself back up to the top of the hill.. but hopefully it will be a short climb this time and you will feel better quickly.

Ya know.. tis a funny thing.

We work soooooo hard to get ourselves to a good bump in the road so we can work hard.

Then... by working hard.. we go back down again.

Like being on a Lyme roller coaster!

Most of us are guilty of doing it. We KNOW not to get over done at anything.. but hey...

We gotta LIVE!

It seems like a catch 22 sometimes... doesn't it?

I am glad to see you are back on at least one medicine you had before. And maybe the new one will kick big time keet butt and get you up and moving again.

I am sorry you are back here for this reason.. but it is nice to see you again!!!

Jump on in and say a few words. We could use your help!

Welcome back!

Hey Greenie,

Sounds like a winning combination of abx's from what I've read about ketek. I have some right next to me but I'm going to wait till I come back from up north next month to try it...
I have to see if my insurance is going to cover it cuz I think I should be on 800mgs instead of the 400 my not too lyme literate doc has prescribed for me...if I can't get enough because of my prescription insurers then I'll have to get it in samples from my doc...If it works for me I would at least like to have enough for two monthly cycles...
I hope you'll get some really good results from the combo you're useing right now....

Keep in touch...............the zman
