Hey little "g"...
You are cute as can beeeeeee....
You said..
"Are you supposed to detox after you are finished with the rx? or during ? What does one take to do this? Does it cause herxes? is it painful?"
Detoxing is a bit more complicated than that.
Yes.. it can cause you to feel worse at first.
Yes.. some of it can be painful.
Knowing what I do about YOUR situation...
I do NOT recommend it right now.
You are too "down" to add more problems at this point... and too unstable.
Soon though... you will feel much better and THEN is the time to consider it.
You could try drinking some decaf green tea NOW... a cup a day... if you are really bent on doing something.
But NOT before bedtime... ok?
I am NOT trying to avoid answering... or suggesting stuff for you.. just not sure that is what you need to do right now... and don't want to rock your boat.
Haven't forgot about you, I've been so sick.I agree than, no need to bring me down anymore than I already am!!
You said decaf green tea.....will that make me sick?
You said...I am NOT trying to avoid answering... or suggesting stuff for you.. just not sure that is what you need to do right now... and don't want to rock your boat.
Now you know, if you suggested to stand on one foot and hop around....I'D DO IT!!!!heehee

Hi Jamie,
I use Tincup's Tea Recipe to detox, it always helps. I drink a cup everyday, sometimes more than one.
Here it is...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tincup's Tea Recipe 1. Mix a batch of herb tea (not as strong as pills and extracts). Mix one recipe one day, the other recipe the next time, and alternate between the two. Then add the liquid extracts listed below. Recipe 1 Use the following tea bags: 4 green tea bags (decaf)- antioxidant, detoxifiers, blood cleansers, energy booster. Contains chlorophyll, minerals, and enzymes. 2 organic peppermint- stomach settling, enhances digestion,. Use for chills, cholic, diarrhea, headaches, nausea, spasms, and poor appetite. 2 Dandelion- reduces swelling and fluid buildup. Cleans blood and liver and used as a diuretic. Reduces serum cholesterol and uric acid. Improves kidney, pancreas, spleen and stomach functions. Useful for abscesses, boils, breast tumors, and hepatitis. 2 Red Clover - good for weakened immune systems. Acts as a natural antibiotic, blood purifier, and relaxant. Good for skin diseases, liver disorders, and kidney problems. 2 Pau d'arco- contains a natural antibacterial agent. It cleanses the blood and is good for candidasis and all types of infection. Directions: Boil a few cups of water. Remove from heat. Add tea bags from one of the above recipes and let steep about 10 minutes. Remove tea bags and cool. Add fresh water to make one gallon. Add 3-4 packs sweet and low, or sugar/ sweetener, honey, natural sweeteners, to taste. Add: 5 drops (Herbs Etc.) whole seed Milk Thistle extract and
5 drops (Innovative Natural Products) Liquid Germanium Drink as warm tea or on ice. You should drink the gallon of herbal tea within 2 days and keep the unused portion refrigerated. Hi guiney!
I can't believe I'm going to say this but I disagree with Tincup
Toxins are what make you feel sick- getting rid of some make you feel better. A couple of easy things I do are: take milk thistle every day, take glutathione sublingually, and if I'm too acidic, drink Tri-salts and water.
You can get milk thistle and Tri-salts at the health food store. The cheapest place I've found Twin Labs Mega-Glutathione is www.discountblvd.com
It comes in a capsule and you simply open it up and empty it under your tongue. I let it dissolve on it's own but my LLMD says you can take a little sip of water and swish it around for a minute, as well.
Yes.. tis the hunting season again....
Until I grow antlers... I will not get ANY attention!
You make me giggle...
And look! Beverly!
She hit FIVE THOUSAND POSTS!!!
WOW!!!
What a dear to help so many!
Thanks Beverly!!!
And PAB is almost at 1,000.
WONDERFUL!
I am proud to be with folks who care so much.
Ok Little "g"..
You said..
"You said [drink] decaf green tea.....will that make me sick?"
Yes dear... that is why I said it.
HELLO! It's ME!
DUH...
You know.. the one who wants to help?
I really try hard NOT to make folks sick!
Believe it or not!
I think you should get some... Railway Mkt. has it...
Just green tea for now.
You MIGHT feel a bit of a icky feeling.. but with the way YOU feel anyhow.. not much difference.
AND.. it will only last a day or two.
THEN.. you may have more energy... and may feel a bit clearer and better.
It is a MILD detox method that can be used daily.. that is why I suggested it.
Hey Bean...
HA! You are funny too!
You posted while I was writing..
I don't like to say this... and rarely do...
But...
I agree with Bean.
hehehe
Actually...
Bean IS right. Toxins make you feel bad.
You need to get rid of them.
In this case... for little g... I feel there is a time and place.. and in my opinion... little "g" ain't quite there yet. Soon.. but not this week?
Sorry Bean.. I should have said that I gave my advise specifically for Little "g" this time.
My fault.
Little "g" has had some things going on in the past few weeks that I happen to know about that others may not?? She is a local yokal...
Basically.. without reveling personal info...
In MY opinion... she needs to get "stable" first on her new meds and over that serious hump she just hit.
Then.. once she is stable... she should add more things to the mixture.
But.. as I said... that is MY opinion.. for her specific situation.. and I am not always right.
I am glad you pointed that out.. because others may not know I was being specific for her.. and may have thought I meant that suggestion for everyone.
My next advise to her agrees 100 percent with you... and it would be to do the milk thistle every day...
I was going to suggest to have her add it slowly to the pile of stuff she is on.. in the form of tea which she can get nearby... so she wouldn't have so many pills to try and swallow.
And Little "g" is a fooler... or as my daddy would say..
A faker ridulous pig.
Of course, in a NICE way... hehehe
She sounds MUCH better online here than she feels.
She even has me fooled sometimes when I see her posts.. and I KNOW what is going on.
Sooooo.. little g... Bean is right.. actually I have never seen her be wrong.
You can certainly start the milk thistle now... if you choose.
IF you aren't already doing it? I can't remember now.
I am not familiar with the other product.. so I can't help with that. But if Bean thinks it is good... that is a big plus.
