Little did I know when I asked for a miracle early this am in the email update, one might occur! Unfortunately, for that miracle, some poor innocent child must again suffer the ravages of Lyme disease. Let us not let her suffering be in vain. I have just received word from two PA sources that the minister who was to bless the PA senate this morning could not come in. It was announced to the full senate that the reason was his daughter is so ill with LD he could not make it. The senate is abuzz and looking to put the bill on the docket today and consider & vote on it this week. Please immediately call Steve McNet, Esq. at 717-787-8511 and request that he assign Pa House Bill 1977 to the Pa Senate Today! It is his job to assign bills. Do it now please! If not assigned today it will not make the deadline. If you have not finished your other PA calls, go for it and complete them. It is sad that only severe illness of those responsible for/associated with policy making can make this suddenly a priority, but it is a fact, and we must capitalize on it. Pat Smith, President Lyme Disease Association, Inc. I just called this number. I got a real woman on the phone.
I said I would like to leave a message with Steve McNet. She said "I know this must be about House Bill 1977" in a cheery voice. I said with a laugh, "how did you know?" and she said they've had quite a few calls already. She said she would get him the message and my name.
It's easy, folks!!! Please call today!!! Let's make a huge impression. Don't rely on other to make the call. Can't believe the ball is back in our hands for another day!
Leslie

Let's make it a lot more pages...
And it anyone wants to do a virtual PJ party..I am in for the chips and brew..I probably can't make it because my daughter will be on. Can someone take over in case Tincup can't attend????
Ellen and Pat. thanks for the news and I hope the minister's daughter is ok and will someday realize what she may have helped accomplish.

Hi Ellen,
I called Steve McNet office and got a real person too! I also printed out your other post on all the Senators and so far every person that I have spoken with said they are for the bill. Not finished making all calls yet though.
