Last week someone posted a response that Dr. K in CT. had referred that a persisting IGM 3+(especially the 31 band WB) could indicate an autoimmune reaction triggered by LD or reinfection. I can't find it, I would like to know more about this! Can someone help or let me know where to find out more imfo! Thanks for all the helpful info on this board!!!

i am the one who posted that info, but i don't know how much more info i can give you.
i saw Dr K recently and in one of the handouts he gave me, it mentions this fact about IGM bands in the Western Blot in people who have had Lyme for a long time.
one possibility he seems to be examining is that some people with chronic lyme have an immune system that is malfuncitoning due to the lyme infection.
i will have more info after my follow uo in about a month.
but feel free to ask me questions and i will answer if i can.
