My son, said he was having symptoms of lyme , I think he is worried since I have it and My Nephew has it, So i called the Dr and asked them to run a test today, before my surgery, to ease his mind.

He is only 13, I was wondering what the heck is the Tiger test for Lyme? Thanks
all. I will check email later tonight then I will be in hospital a few days then back again

My best guess is that is the Lyme titer or Elisa test. It has a high false negitive, partly because the test may not be testing for the same strain your son may have or antibodies may not be made yet. It isn't very sensitive either.

The test can't rule out lyme only confirm a clinical diagnosis. Sorry.
