A friend of mine in the Black Forest in Germany (raised there) has had every symptom imaginable for years. Now that I was finally diagnosed with Lyme, I am convinved it is the same issue - or some related organism. Does anyone know enough about the medical establishment in Germany to know how you get to a LLMD? Does anyone know of any good LLMDs in southern Germany?

Thanks,
Scott www.BetterHealthGuy.com

Scott,

There is only a handful of LLMD's in Germany and the waiting lists are long.

After all I know, the best of them is located in Southern Germany and not far from the Black Forest - so your friend is lucky. Maybe he can get there in 1 hour driving. I'll send you the address in an email.

He will have to wait 4-5 months but tell him the waiting is worthwile. In the meantime, he can contact a Lyme-Support Group (Borreliose-Selbsthilfegruppe) in his surroundings to get the adress of a doctor who at least knows how to spell Lyme. But tell him in any case to get (and keep) the appointment with the LLMD - 5 months are passing very fast.
