My son's best friend (17 yrs old) is in the hospital fighting for his life after a rupture in his colon. Thank God they didn't have to put a bag on him (yet) but he is having trouble getting his blood count up.

He was diagnosed with Crohn's about 9 years ago.

Is there any link with Lyme disease? I thought I read something a bit back but that was when I could read something and 2 seconds later I wouldn't be able to tell you my address if I had just read that.

How do you do a search on this board. (i'm not real computer smart)

Thanks for any info.

Peggy

Yes. At there is at least one article about Crohn's and lyme.

It is being learned that many diseases have infectious triggers, weather bacterial, viral or or fungal.

My neighbor has Crohn's and Lyme.

You can search by clicking on the little blue word "search" in the upper right hand corner of this page.

Here lately, the feature has not been working. Maybe you'll get lucky.
