my Doctors office called today and wants me to come back in 2 weeks to retest me because my Caculated Globulin and Caculate AG Ratio were low. Does anyone know what those represent or what that means? The nurse wouldn't tell me much. Any lab people or doctors who can tell me about it and or send me to a website so I can understand this more. Thank You, Stacie

Stacie-A common test of your serum(clear part of blood)is protein and albumin.Since protein in the blood is mostly albumin(same protein as egg whitea) and globulin, globulin is usually calculated by subtracting albumin from protein. Low protein can mean many things, often malnutrition, just not enough food. That's unlikely for you , I'd imagine. Pat in Pa
