I keep hearing people speak definitively about their co-infections. I thought testing for co-infections is ambiguous. I asked my LLMD and he said we were going to treat for them so it wasn't necessary to test. Seems to me that if you don't have something, why treat for it?

Go to Bowen Research Lab. You donate the $250 for the serial dilution test and the coinfections tests. Ask your doctor to call 1-727-937-9077 and ask for the kit. After you send your blood (Mon-Thurs only) and they receive it, your doctor gets the results within 24 hours. Then you get the complete report with the colored pictures about a week later.
Best testing around. I went to all the other labs and they only found lyme and BBI labs found babs only. Bowen found that I had HME, HGE and babs plus the lyme. I was bitten in 1994 and did not get the correct testing for 6 years. They tested me in 1994 with the Eliza and it came up negative. Therefore, precious time lost and I ended up going to 16 docs in MD who thought I had MS, Lupus, etc. If only........ Go to www.lymediseaseinformation.com and this Pfizer pamphlet will show you the pictures of the coinfections as Bowen pictures them. Good luck.

Thanks Mammal. I printed it out. (yukky critters) Will the testing at Bowen duplicate the Igenex testing I have already done - IgM and IgG antibody? (+,-, respectively.)
What are HME and HGE? Ikow babs and ehrl now.
The last tick I had was on my head 7 years ago. It was smaller than any I had seen. Husband who is a science teacher said it was a deer tick. Went to MD and asked for lyme test and he talked me out if it. I already had neuro sxs that were subtle. 2 years ago MS dx and 1 month ago Positive LB from Igenex. Looking forward to feeling like crap, because I will know it is clearing.
If I could I would stay in bed all day today. Never did that. Thanks for the info.

No, Igenex does not duplicate Bowen. Bowen actually shows you what is in your blood with the pictures to prove it. My last picture in Sep. 2004 looked like a tongue sticking out of my lyme cell. This is what is in my blood. this is the cyst form of lyme in my blood.
Their website has changed but you can go to www.bowen.org and click on lyme research. they received their patent for their lyme test in Jan. 2005. Best testing around. you will be shocked if you have the coinfections to see your blood pictures. Really gross. In fact, my husband and I are getting our blood drawn this afternoon for Bowen.
