Just wondered how much peroxide should be added. Never heard of it's benefits before.

Here is a remedy that I swear by. It was THE ONLY THING that helped my herx while I was IN THE HOSPITAL for 5 days in 2001.
"Oxidative therapy may be useful in reducing these symptoms. Garth Nicholson, M.D., director of The Institute for Molecular Medicine in Huntington Beach, California recommends peroxide baths (four 16 oz. bottles of 3% hydrogen peroxide in 20 inch bath or Jacuzzi, with 2 cups of Epsom salt. Patients soak in hot water plus the Epsom salt for five minutes until pores are open, then add the peroxide solution. This should be repeated three times a week at bedtime. No vitamins should be taken 8 hours before bath. The peroxide can also be directly applied to the skin after a hot shower/tub. The peroxide should be left on for 5 minutes and then washed off."

I heard about household grade H202 from a friend several months ago and thought I'd give it a try. I use 1-2 cups in a hot bath, sometimes with Epsom Salts. Sometimes I experience increased herxing the day after. It helps me with yeast type symptoms of the lower body among other things. I also put it in my humidifier. Some people drink the stuff but it has to be household grade and caution with dosing is imperative.

What I learned is to use 3 large bottles of hydrogen peroxide in a bath. Be sure to rinse off because it really dries out your skin. Blessings, Marblenose

Just wondering why no vitamins 8 hours before. I seem to take stuff all day long and that would be hard. Posts: 738 | From Colorado | Registered: Oct 2004
