Yes as a matter of fact that's just how I did mine...my wife got to stab me in the but...she practiced on an orange a few times....not hard....
Somebody here did it to themselves...I think it was tincup...but not sure how that is possible to do and get in hip.....but hey if I had to I would have.......probably better than wife as she was a little freaked out by it...even though she was a medical assistant for an urgicare....good luck zman

A number of people here are self-injecting, including me, with no problems.
This has been discussed several times in the past couple of months, so you might be able to find the information through a search.
If the search function isn't working, scroll through the pages and open the threads with Bicillin in the subject line.
If you can't find what you are looking for, let us know. I think I collected some of the suggestions and saved them somewhere, and will look if you are unsuccessful with a search.

My husband has administered my injections for about 3 years now... Its actually really easy and gives you lots of freedom ...at first I had a nurse come in once a week , and for some reason mentally that made me feel like an even "sicker" persona than I was...
I think self injecting ( after being taught) is the best way....it helps you to feel like a more normal person.
They can be, and it does save on money, but if you do, make sure you have an Epipen. It is a shot that you can give to yourself just in case you have an anphylactic reaction to the Bicillin.
I get the shots too with no problems, but there is always a chance that your body could have a reaction to the shot, no matter how many times you have had the medicine, and for this reason (safety) it is best to have an Epipen ready or you could be in trouble. It is the same thing used for people who are allergic to bee stings.
Bicillin can also be difficult to locate, so you may have to talk to others here to find a place to get the meds.
They do need to be in the upper buttock area. Can be tricky, but can be done by yourself.
You are doing L.A. and not C.R. right?
Good luck,

I always did all my own injections, never had any problems. Make sure a doctor or nurse show you how to do the shots.
