Almost 3 weeks ago I started this cleanse and was doing very well with lyme. My lyme suddently flared up after starting this cleanse. Joint pain, lots of weird sensations in legs and arms like I had before being diagnosed 2 years ago.
Does anyone know why this would happen or am I so infested with parasites I'm feeling bad?

I'm guessing here -- but perhaps the cleanse is causing a herx-type reaction?
Assuming all the literature I've read on this type of cleanse is accurate....
Even people without lyme often experience some uncomfortable die-off symptoms when cleansing -- the body is ridding itself of toxic material and the cleanse is killing parasites --- the die off can be truly unpleasant. I'm also thinking/guessing that the Bb probably likes hiding in the impacted areas of the colon, as it is shielded from immune response, abx, etc -- so when the colon is starting to shed the impacted material, it allows for your lyme tx to work better, killing more Bb, causing a herx.
Folks with Lyme tend to have digestive issues anyhow, even before throwing abx in the mix, so I'm thinking that probably our colons need cleansing all the more. Plus, if you are taking oral abx, that is going to be acting directly IN the digestive tract (hence the need for lots of probiotics, etc.)
I'm doing a similar type colon cleanse right now -- psyllium and bentonite, herbs to mobilize the waste, and an anti-parasitic herbal blend. I've been herxing up a storm, myself -- not sure if it is from the colon-cleanse, or just a regular old lyme herx -- so hard to tell. In any case, I figure that cleansing the colon is a must-do if I am going to be healthy.
None of this is fact -- I'm just throwing out some opinions here.

Parasites harbor viruses and heavy metals. So you need to protect yourself by taking antivirals and different mop-ups for the neurotoxins (chlorella, chitosan, cholestyramine, pectin, destroxin, potatoes, betasitosterol, etc.) and make sure you are not the least bit constipated.
You are getting rid of the nasties that keep you ill - the only way out is the way through.
Take care.
P.S. Some people do not do well with the tea - make sure it is not a reaction to the tea. Maybe leave it off for a couple of days and see if you feel differently. Nobody of the many people that I know that have been on the Natura cleanse had a negative reaction, except a couple did not like the tea. You could substitute a different "colon-activating" tea or Aloe Vera, whatever you know works for you against constipation. But if you are heavy metal toxic, parasites and fungi are known to hold them in their cell walls and of course if you have die-off of the parasites, etc., the metals start to circulate. Catching them is very important because they settle elsewhere in the body and do their damage there.

GiGi I have 4 mercury fillings left. Currently I'm seeing a TMJ specialist who is working on correcting my bite. Until the bite is corrected, he will not remove anymore fillings.
As I recall you have spoken about the bite and how important it is for it to be correct. I'm taking Bio Pure Chlorella and doing very well with it. Constipation has been a problem for me in the past.
Can I get destroxin and pectin at the health food store? Those are ones I definitely need to add. Is chitosan perscription?

Snowboarder, you can get the pectin at the healthfood stores. Ground-up apples (with peel) also contain the pectin. Sold in half pound jars.
We did that faithfully for several years every morning. I still do it now, but more for the apple-a-day's sake. Destroxin, if you can't find it at your healthfood store, try the internet. www.destroxin.com
P.S. Be sure to take the best absorbable minerals. Without a good mineral base, we cannot detox effectively.
