PLEASE DiSTRIBUTE. THIS POST IS FOR EVERYONE FROM EVERY STATE.
Hi folks, It's time now to turn or attention to Senator Joseph Bruno and urge him to pass the due process bill to protect our doctors, S5057a.
His phone number is 518-455-3191. Just say please pass S5057a. If you call after 5pm, then leave the message with your name, phone number and zip code.
Thanks so much to everyone who has been calling and writing in this effort.
FOR THOSE NEW TO THIS ISSUE: Bill S5057a gives due process to doctors so they can defend themselves against unjust prosecutions.
This is necessary because almost all the LLMDs in NYS have had their licenses in some way threatened by the state Office of Professional Medical Conduct.
If we are not able to stop it in NYS, this trend will continue throughout the country.
So, if we want to keep our medical care, it's important to get this bill passed. Thanks, Ellen

I just got a call from Monica Miller who is in Albany where the legislature will be in session until late tonight.
She says that the Health Department has pulled out all the stops to keep the due process bill S5057 from being passed. (They are the parent agency of the OPMC which we are trying to reform).
Okay. So we are poor little sick nobodies who don't count. So let's pull out all the stops and show them what we can do if we work together.
Please keep focussed on these action alerts. Following them is the only way we are going to be able to pull out all the stops. Ellen
