Oil Of Oregano, and colloidol silver..Both can be purchased at bio-alternatives.net,,,
or about anywhere on the net,i recomend these people as I use there products..

Georgetown researcher (Harry G. Preuss, MD, MACN, CNS, professor of
physiology and biophysics) has found oregano oil may be an effective
treatment against dangerous, and sometimes drug-resistant bacteria. Two
studies have shown that oregano oil-and, in particular, carvacrol, one of
oregano's chemical components-appear to reduce infection as effectively as
traditional antibiotics. Oregano Oil's effects were compared to those of
standard antibiotics streptomycin, penicillin and vacnomycin. The oregano
oil at relatively low doses was found to inhibit the growth of
staphylococcus bacteria as effectively as the standard antibiotics did.
Research conducted by the same team found Oregano Oil to be effective
against fungal (Athlete's foot, Candida, Yeast, etc.) infections also and
appeared to work similar to pharmaceutical antibiotics nystatin &
amphotericin against Candida Albicans. These findings were presented at the
American College of Nutrition's annual meeting in Orlando.

8man12,

thanks for the infor.

ever hear of oregacillin? i've seen several spellings using the suffix thats used for the penicillins. if you heard of this, which product/brand was the original one?

in vivo studies?

while helpful, i think the dose required to knock out borrelia would do more harm than good;i.e., the hazards of taking very high dose essential and other types of oils would out weigh the benefits.

anything on crossing the blood brain barrier?

I have been using oregano oil for a few weeks and have regained use of my foot (not sure what it did, but I like the result).

I use the pure essential oil though and mix with olive oil - massage into feet. Good for detox.

Glad someone else has seen that oregano oil can do some good.

I used oil of oregano and the next day felt 100% better and it lasted for 2 weeks and then that was it. I kept it up for a long time, stopped for 3 months, tried it again and again but it never gave me that boost again. It was wonderful while it lasted.
