At a picnic yesterday a pal was telling me about not feeling well and how many ticks he's pulled off himself this summer. His doctor gave him the 2-day prophylactic Doxy with 6 or 8 refills (!!) and told him he wouldn't ever get the bull's-eye rash because he's had the vaccine. Yet my sister-in-law, who also had the vaccine, has had a number of bull's-eyes from being bit (has seemed to be a localized reaction, lucky her). Anyway, since I've seen with my own eyes that a vaccinated person certainly CAN get the EM rash, I want to offer my pal proof that his doctor doesn't necessarily know what he's talking about. Does anyone have a citation on this?

hate to say it, but ususally the people who got the vaccine , when it was on the market ,are the peoople who are getting the sickest from lyme when bitten! that's part of hte reason it was pulled from the market. (the vaccine i mean)..they say it's from lack of interest..but trust me, so many people were getting sick.

dr. jones, says all of his kids he sees who got the vaccine are his sickest. my friends 4 kids have the hdl4 marker from the vaccinea and it's the hardest for them to get rid of lyme...

I wish your friends the best..maybe mind over matter will win in this case...ifyou don't give him the info i just gaveyou..
