I have to add in Bactrim DS (Septrin Forte) x2 daily to the Cipro I am currently on.

Just wanted to know if anyone else has tried Bactrim and how they got on?

Has anyone taken it in combination and were there any side effects?

Yes- I took Bactrim in combination with Mino.

When I started adding in the Bactrim (after being on Mino) I immediately spiked a fever, for really achey joints and flet like I had the flu. I suspended Bactrim for a few days, then weaned myself up on the bactrim (all the while still taking Mino). I beleive this was an effective combo for me - but it took a while to get up to 500 mg doses of the bactrim. I didn't rush - I'd cut the dose back if I got non-functional.
