Has anyone used homozon? It is a powder made of magnesium and ozone that you mix in water. Then you drink lemon juice. The lemon juice is supposed to react with it chemcially to make oxygen which lyme don't like.

Would appreciate replies before I spend any money on it. Hiker

while i've seen homozon mentioned i haven't researched it enough to say anything about it.

however, 'off-the-top,' judging solely by the ingredients you mention and method of consuming it. i can speculate as to 1-2 things that will happen.

first, adding the strong acid(citric acid from lemon juice) to the base(alkaline to more likely neutral) Mg-O3 bond would perhaps result in the following possible new compounds.

1.the ozone splits off Mg to give free O3, and a hydrogen atom from gastric HCL would bind to the Mg, which is positively charged. the ozone would be consumed almost instantly due to its instability as such, bind with any- and everthing,perhaps starting in the mouth along the esophageal wall and in the stomach.
i would NOT expect the ozone to get passed the stomach, as the stomach, being an extremely acidic environment would instantly react with any ozone given off.
MgO3 + HCL(gastric hydrochloric acid) + O3(ozone)----> MgCl2(mag.chloride) + H2O (water) + ? [pure speculation here].
this would happen in the stomach.

2.MgO3 + citric acid(lemon juice)---> Mg-citrate + X + Y +...+ ?

3. Mg hydroxide?

it would seem to me that it would be good for cleansing the alimentary canal, and only the stomach and perhaps part of the small intestines. so, you'd probably get Bb there.

i don't think any ozone would get into the blood stream, by this method, and any that did Bb would laugh at.

There for I would say that for the purpose of a serious attack on Bb this is little,if any good.

all you chemists, and biochemists out there with the dupping laugh: your welcome to balance the equations,and post an other physiologic possibilities.
