I have had a bruise [appx 2"x3"] on my backside calf muscle for about 2 months- any ideas?? I mentioned it to my llmd about a month ago & it is not related to meds.... I have just restarted hbot treatments & was there prior to my first 11 treatments, so it was not from that nor did it heal either? Maybe my BP meds? Thanks for any advice 8-)

My son has bruises all over his right bicep. I would be worried if it was the left because we just had the picc line pulled from that one last monday.
I did some searching on here and Babs can cause bruising.
Also, vitamin K and vitamin C deficiencies.
I made a spinach artichoke dip with lyme and avocado for his dinner (spinach has vitamin K and I don't have a supplement with that)
I am going to watch the bruising... make sure it doesn't move, expand or spread.
I would be concerned if it hadn't gone away in two months? Are you sure it's a bruise? Purple? I don't want to scare you, but could it possibly be parasites of some kind?

Thank you for the reply & may be from anti- inflammatory [mobic] is what I found from a medical consideration not counting what lyme & co's can do. May your sons treatment help him in becoming lyme free! Blessings in this Journey

I have had a large blue bruise on my shin for almost a year now. It was there when i started hyperbaric treatments last february. I thought surely the treatments would make it go away faster, not so!
I had to apply concealer to make it look less noticeable for my sister's wedding this past summer. I've tried all kinds of herbal, homeopathic, and vit K creams to try to make it heal faster. I think that it is finally fading now that I've stopped caring.
