Can I take these together? It is what I am supposed to do next but I never heard of this combo.

Anyone else take these together?
What results??

Hi. I took rifa and mino for 5 months then switched the mino for doxy for another 4 months...huge turnaround about the 4th month on this combo (after a huge months long herx) most progress was cognitive for me.

My physical/motor stuff is babs apparently...good luck! kt

Robi--mino is another one of those drugs that raises liver enzymes. If you try the two together, you might want to do two things: warn your doctor that your enzyme levels may go up, so that s/he doesn't panic and yank you off all your abx for six months, and take a LOT of liver support.

Apparently, Dr. J gets great results combining rifampin with either bactrim/septra or zithromax. You don't have to go the whole hog to give rifampin a try.

Ok well I guess I can try it then since you all lived to type about it.......... I already take 6 milk thistle capsules a day form Jarrow. What other support can I do? Really want to be careful about the liver stuff.

Hi Robi,

I have taken Rifampin and Mino, but not together. Too Rifampin and it put me in bed for 3 weeks. Rough drug, but crosses the BBB and helped me cognitively.
