My family read an article about vitamin C IV for lyme treatment.Has any heard of? I think it sounds like more snake oil.I have had lyme for 19 years and the latest iv and oral did not put me in remission .I am open too alternative treatments, like some people benefit from hyperberic, ozone, rife ect...i have spent a small fortune, as i know alot of you have done towards the antibiotic route ,which i am still doing and is the only thing keeping me from becoming catatonic.but don't want to waste anymore money on an iffy treatment.(IV vit.C) would greatly appreciate any feedback Best wishes dana

We asked Mom's LLMD about it. His biggest reservation was finding someone to do it "right" - using the right stuff, mixing it properly, keeping it sterile, etc.
He said that he didn't know of anyone he trusted to so much as compound it properly.
FWIW.

I infuse 1 gram of Vitamin C everyday in a bag of saline but not specifically to treat Lyme so it's not really what you're talking about. I have to do daily IV hydration (a liter of saline everyday) because of Dysautonomia and I get a bunch of supplements added because it's difficult for me to tolerate oral supplements. (I also have B-complex, B6, pantothenic acid, trace minerals, and zinc added and may have extra niacin added.)
I hope you can do some research on this and objectively decide if it's something to seriously consider.
I tried it myself twice and it was too hard on my veins. I have very fine veins so I'm not a good candidate for IVs, long blood draws etc it turns out.
When I did this IV it had a bunch of other stuff in it so its hard to say if it helped or not. I did however feel great after the first one, and drained after the second one.
If pursuing this, go with someone with a long successful track record using this treatment for lyme.
