I am not sure about the spelling of this antibiotic but my doctor just told me I need to start taking it for my bar co-infection. Has ne 1 ever taken this drug? Can you tell me your experience and the side effects?

Thanks
Lindsay

Hi Smiles,

I don't have any experience w/ this abx, but if you are talking about Flagyl there are a lot of people who have on Lyme net.

If you click on the word search up top, just type in the name and run a search of past posts.

P.s. there are a lot of great people on this site, so sit tight and I'm sure some one will be by that can offer more help to you.

Good Luck, and welcome! [hi]

I took flagyl and zithromax together for 10 months. I did doxy first, then omnicef/biaxin before the second combo.

Made huge progress, but had stomach soreness and peripheral neuropathy in my feet the last few months. These symtoms are resolving at this point.
