What is it, exactly, that you get for this 40$ The way inflation is skyrocketing, that's pretty darn cheap! 40 bucks only buys about 8 gallons of reaaly good juice.. I'd be a little worried about the quality of the juice that goes into it. Is it organic? The juice thing is a great idea, but it might be better for you to tweak it depending on your symptoms and the cocktail of drugs you're on, all the while researching it (after all, your at least on this list, and have a computer- you've already started doing that!..) Oh, I see-- 2 bottles, only. Well THAT doesn't sound so good. I would just research juice diets, do the best to sort out the bs from the real stuff (an important step!!), and formulate my own juicing approach. If you're thinking of doing this, the best thing, because of the importance of freshness, is to invest in a juicer (maybe you could pick one up at a sale if you're lucky) Admittedly that raises the price, but I still think its better. Then, after you recover completely, maybe you could then start offering juice diets for lyme disease(and hope your prospective clients don't see my post here!) DaveS

My local pharmacist says the ingredients in Juice Plus are fine, but you have to take tons of pills to get a beneficial dose.
He strongly recommended any of the green powders. I did green powder for a while, but felt I got the same benefit from vitamins and chlorella pills.
There is a particular LLMD who is known for trying to sell Juice Plus to all his patients. Down the road, you may also hear about an expensive water purifier and some Asian herbs you have to send away to India for. The Asian herbs aren't that bad, they have a mild anti-inflammatory effect, but they won't work on Lyme at all.
One way to handle this situation is to expect it, and dismiss it without getting upset--just nod politely, and don't antagonize him. He does it to everyone. (And many of the herbs and supplements he sells in his front office really are effective and reasonably priced. Juice Plus isn't one of them, though.)

Dave, this "juice" comes in the form of pills....so in my book it doesn't qualify as juice!

I took the red and green but found I was having strong sugar cravings, which is not my norm from it so I stopped. Then my girlfriend told me about the purple one that has alot of antioxidants resverital etc. so I have been taking that one and like how I feel. Check the sugar content before investing that kind of cash. It works great for some kids I know who are taking a pediatric dose of it. Just not sure about the sugars.

Hello All...I just became a distribtutor of Juice Plus. In the past I have been turned off by multilevel marketing but so far I have a different feeling about this product, the company and so far the sincerety of the people who are selling it.
I liked the idea that the sugar was taken out of the juice before it was dried. I do have a juicer and juiced for a while but I was leary of the effect the concentrated sugar might have on my already low blood sugar problem so I haven't juiced in a while. Plus it took alot of time.
There are alot of studies done by independant universities and researchers which have proved JP to be an effective product
I have always thought that whole food supplements were much better than isolated vitamin pills. I have also taken the green powders , such as alfalfa etc...which did seem to make a difference...but I could never stick with it because I didn't like the taste.
I have been on the product only a month and do feel a difference in my energy level. My ph has turned much more alkaline without changing my diet. The company enourages that people eat as many fresh raw fruits and vegetables as they can and the capsules should only be used as an insurance policy. I know I never eat enough vegetables each day...even though I like them.
If anyone wants to read some of the research on this stuff you can go to my new website . Hope this isn't against the rules......listing my website

I've been on Juice + now for four months. My next shipment is supposed to arrive "automatically" but it's not here yet.
I suppose I feel a bit better than four months ago ( a little less fatigue, a little more energy).
Honestly I take soooo many things that I never really know for sure what is doing what, how or why. I do keep a journal though.

I know what you mean about not be sure what drug or supplement is accomplishing what. All I know is that I am getting much better than I was (knock on wood). Instead of the pills I've been told to take ,I am relying more on intuition that is telling that concentrated whole foods are better than isolated vitamins.
I'm also growing sprouts and trying to use them alot. I take a Himalayan salt sole(solay) that one can make at home and I'm also using honey produced by Really Raw Honey. It has all the cappings on it with the pollen, beeswax and propolis and is not heated at all so it is a creamy texture and I spread on my peanut butter and bread in the morning. It's delicious and is chock full of raw enzymes. So....I think it's a combination. I don't think we can expect one product to do it all. I'm also trying to learn how to make colloidal silver

Juice Plus was one of the many supplements my LLMD advised me to take at my first visit. Don't know if this is the same LLMD liz28 was referring to.
I did notice a significant difference after taking it for a month or two. (I was also working on controlling the yeast issues, too, so I'm sure that was a big part of the improvement.) But I started to feel much better than I had in years.
I had tried juicing first because I was really skeptical of JP and I've always believed in real food being better than pills (or capsules in this case).
The fresh juice was absolutely wonderful but really quite a bit of work with the cleanup and all. The cost of constantly buying the fresh produce to make the juice actually made the $39.75 per month for Juice Plus seem reasonable.
I have to say it made a difference for me and I still use it.
I am not a distributor and don't plan on becoming one. Just relating me experience with it.
