Hi, I have started with Cat's Claw (toa free) capsules today, but didn't feel any herx, nothing.

I also bought Artemisinin, just in case I have babesia (as I had night sweats, stiff neck, heart palpiations etc a few weeks ago, but now all gone). But hasn't started taking it yet.

My basic lyme symptom are now pain on my left knee, sporadic pain in the vertebral column and left elbow. I think that even sound sensitivity has gone now. Someone said it could be just waning of symptoms and that I'm still sick...

I have been treating with homeopathy and supplements and didn't get any abx from any 5 doctors I visited these last 2 months.

I feel well, but as I still have arthritis, I would like to continue taking Cat's Claw to see if this symptom disappears, at least for a month (started today!).

Someone suggested I could have got babesia, because of my previous symptoms, so I was thinking to take Artemisinin too.

But I read that it could be dangerous to take Artemisinin without abx or salt/C.

Has anyone got a suggestion what I could do? I'd like to continue for about a month with Cat's Claw, if my arthritis gets better, then continue with it for more a few weeks. But could I take Artemisinin together?

Thanks for your suggestions.

Selma

hi welma - i take antibiotics, do buhner's protocol (cat's claw - not toa free- , andrographis, sasparilla, resveratrol, smilax & hanfang ya) and arteminisin 3 weeks a month....buhner (healing lyme) believes that toa free cat's claw is a scam and recommends raintree.
good luck, deb

From my nutrition background,I focused
on healing Lyme with herbs. My results appear
to be very similar to Buhner's.
Prior to publishing his book on Healing
Lyme, my wife and I chose to take:

Cat's Claw from Raintree (not TOA-free)
Artemisinin and Artemesia
Sarsaparilla (Smilax)
Seven Forest Formulas for Spirochetes
Grape Seed Extract (Resveratrol)
Garlic from Kyolic
A variety of herbs for cleansing

In our opinion this combination was a
much better route to take than prescription
antibiotics. The side effects from abx
prevent many from healing. The final blow
to the Lyme bacteria is probably from your
own immune system.

After better than a year of late-stage
neuroborreliosis, we are now symptom free,
after 1 1/2 years of the above herbs.

Hi Deb, thanks for the tip on no-toa free. I have read discussions here about it and will next try the rain tree brand too!

And JOHN, HELP!

Why do you take both Artemisinin and Artemisia?

What is the Seven Forest Formula against Spirochetes? Is it Smilax + Ching-hao + Forsythia + Hu-chang + Andrographis + Lonicera stem?

Where do I buy this Seven Forest Formula?

What about the garlic? Is it the Kyolic Immune 103 from Wakunaga??

THANKS!
Selma
