OK, you know where the litle notch is in the line, since day one it has been about a cm from the entrance. Well Thanksgiving night I changed my dressing and it poped out another cm. My nurse just changed the dressing and it has come out another cm. So at the moment the line has come out a little more than 2 cm's oo a little more than 3 cm's from where the notch or line size increases.

Is this alright?

Hello,
I just want to let you know that when I had my picc I was getting more heart palps and my doc pulled it out about 3cm. But after that it was so hard to keep it from sliding out when getting dressing changes. It slid out many more times and ended up being out 2-3 inches. I had no problems because of this. It was just a pain in the #@@. So keep it as secure as you can but my picc was in 7 months with no problems due to it being out a couple inches. Michelle
