I have been a big proponent of electromagnetic devices for the treatment of Lyme disease. They have done a better job than all of the many antibiotics I have tried. Every time a joint aches I treat it and the pain is gone. But they are not a cure.

For detoxing I have tried Chlorella. I bought like a pound of it and took it one teaspoon at a time. It did almost nothing.

I read about detoxing foot pads here somewhere and decided to give them a try. First I actually sleep at night! Second I wake up with energy and thoughts racing through my head.

My first impression after only 5 days is "Two Thumbs UP!".

Glad to hear they are helping.

I use a Rife machine too. I was doing great for about a year, and now im in the middle of a relapse.

What brand are you using? Does it pull mercury out too?

Thanks,

Jordan

I REALLY like the detox foot pads. I tried 10 at first, ran out, woke up with headaches again so I ordered 100 from HealthMarvels and now I don't wake up with headaches many mornings.

I can definitely tell a difference.

Mine aren't black anymore, just a yucky colored brown.

I also use the ones from Healthmarvels.net and have been pleased with having them as an adjunctive therapy.

I like the ones from health marvel too.
Only the gold ones seem to do the most good .

The green ones did not turn very dark.

I noticed a difference in cog and energy level. Not huge but enough to make it worth it.

Tryed the heaven patches. They didn't turn any darker than the gold ones I have been using.
Bought 10 original podi patches .Will see if I can stand the smell and if they are far superior to the Gold health marvels.

Take care [Smile]

I bought mine on Ebay, but they were Gold TRMX-2 so they are the same thing as what healthmarvels.net sells.

The seller on Ebay is cheapdetoxpads4sale, I do not know if that is the same company but it is the same product.

The gold ones are gold in color. The writing on them is in Japaneese. The seller includes a slip of paper with instructions in English.

The smell goes away if you wash your feet in the morning after taking the patches off.

I bought 10 to give it a try and have improved enough to convince me to try buying 100.

The gold ones have a high content of tourmaline. That is one of the key ingredients.

Me too. I've been using them for about a year and a half - maybe 2-3 times/week. Only recently did I realize I could get them cheaper on ebay - cheapdetoxpads4sale - which I just noticed is the same as healthmarvels. I just ordered 100 blue. I had tried the gold ones - trial run a month or so ago - 10 of them - they are different and definitely not as stinky. I was thinking of switching back and forth. I know they recommend Blue for lyme. The gold ones are more tourmaline. The blue ones are more vinegar. The vinegary ones are stinky. Sometimes I could not stand the smell, especially in warmer weather. I'd wash my feet in the morning after taking them off, AND take a shower. The smell would still be there, yes, but not as strong. But that's a small price to pay for some relief, huh?

I hope that some of you really are helped by these. I came accross some interesting info about foot baths that I am posting below. The principle is the same with the foot pads. The color change is from a chemical reaction that takes place whether or not toxins are present. You be the judge.

More electrolytic pseudoscience: "Detoxifying" foot-baths
Have you ever heard of those foot-baths through which an electric current is passed in order to draw out the "toxins" from your body? To someone who knows no chemistry, it can be quite impressive to see all these evil substances color the water various shades of brown, green, and blue as the current works its magic. Sometimes you see flecks of solids and bubbles of gas appear as your body is "cleansed". Well, this is an old parlor trick, a nice chemistry-classroom demonstration, and, of course, a highly profitable scam. It is often used by naturopaths, ayurvedic healers and other quackery practioners, and can go by such names as Ionic Detoxification, Aqua Chi, Bionic Hydrotherapy, etc.

How does it work? You place your feet in a bowl of water to which a bit of salt has been added. A small electric current is passed between two electrodes immersed in the water, which soon becomes quite discolored. The color, of course, comes from electrolytic corrosion of the metal electrodes. These are usually made of iron, nickel, and copper, all of which decompose into highly-colored ions; these colors will vary with the amount of salt present and the pH of the solution. By-products of the electrolysis process are bubbles of hydrogen and chlorine gases (both of which are dangerous in confined spaces) and sodium hydroxide, commonly known as "lye". The latter tends to soften skin, allowing it to flake off, pick up various colors on reacting with the metal ions, and complete the illusion that one usually pays dearly for: individual treatments can be from $50 up, and the grossly overpriced power supply "machines" sold for home use can go for as much as $1000. And of course, all that really gets cleaned out is your wallet!

You're only a failure when you stop trying.

to Mimi,

HI Mimi, I can read some Japanese as I lived 7 years in Japan.

Would you like me to try and check the site for you to see what they say for detox pads?

Cheapdetoxpads4sale and HealthMarvels.net is the same company. The former is their email address and the later the web site.

To address the comment on foot bath color and likely intended tie to foot pads, HM folks are very clear that the color should not be what is used to judge efficacy but that you should go with how they make you feel.

Personally, I have found that some color changes appear over time, but some of the color is likely from the ingredients in the patch as well. So, don't judge them based soley on the color but look at whether or not you feel better as you use them.

I'm glad more people are trying the patches. I don't know how I would have made it through the last year without them.

Henson, I just switched back to the "smoky" original Podi patches since they are way stronger than the others. The electrical, pricking. vibrating feelings in my feet & ankles was way out of control since switching back to tetra so I knew it was time for the originals.

The smell was nowhere near as overwhelming as the very first time I used them which was intense. This time, like before the relief began right away. My feet did smell bad (very smoky) the next morning so in the shower I scrubbed them with a brush and then a pumice stone. The smoky smell was still there.

I remember reading a post a while back about someone finding something (orange oil?) that removed the smell. I decided to experiment. I poured a little white vinegar on my foot and scrubbed with the brush. Next I sprinkled on baking soda and scrubbed some more. After my feet dried the smell was barely noticeble. Once I put on shoes & socks I did not notice it at all. I don't know which worked, baking soda, vinegar or both. I'll keep experimenting.

I use patches approx 5 nights a week. I rotate balls of feet, arch, heel. I think Podi patch original is by far the best, next best podi patch heaven. My prefered ebay patch is green. I use the gold when I do the arch because it is much more liquid and works better than others on the arch where contact is not as good. I also use the new milk thistle patches. I used copper briefly but they get very runny and can't be walked around in in the morning. Blue & red didn't seem to work as well.

The different patches turn different colors. I don't think there is much significance in how dark they turn. Copper patches turn nearly black and heaven are light and grayish. I have noticed they have less odor than they did when I was sicker.

I researched the foot patches thoroughly before trying them.

There are many hoaxes out there, like the guy who burns a picture of you to see what your problem is by the color of the flame. That was my first "alternate medicine" experience. At that point I concluded that they are all quacks.

After over a year of antibiotics I decided to try all of the electronic devices to see if any of them actually worked. I built a Clark zapper then a Beck zapper, then a Rife machine. Nothing really helped. Then I built a "Doug Coil". The Pulsed electromagnetic device stopped my migranes and soon reversed my arthritis.

However it was no cure. I was loaded with mercury from over a dozen fillings and playing with mercury. I was loaded with lead from soldering since the age of 13, and from rebuilding old houses. Chlorella did not help much, then the foot pads did wonders.

Some web sites have hair test results after three months that show typically a 50% reduction in heavy metals on many users of the foot pads.

FWIW, I wouldn't have heard/known about these, or trusted given them at shot, if it hadn't been for my LLMD who said she had been at a conference and someone recommended them saying they had had good experience with them with their Lyme patients. I am a science-minded kind of person, believe me, there's got to be a reason for everything, and every once in a while I think, how they heck are these working. I'm over it, though. They definitely work for me, and it's something that's worked consistently, as well. Gonna put me on a pair tonight!

My LLMD recommended these patches on my first visit. I had no idea about anything then and bought the original Podi patches.

Almost immediately, I felt as if they helped. But I just couldn't afford them AND the smell was horrible to me. One of my Lymy symptoms has been olfactory sensitivity, and after a week of these Podi patches, I had to stop. The bed smelled, I couldn't get the smell off my feet or out of my shoes. Again, though, I'm extremely sensitive to odors.

I found the patches on ebay (cheapdetoxpads4sale). They cost a lot less money, and after I began using them, I realized they didn't smell nearly as strong.

Over the months that I've used them, I've tried different patches on different parts of my feet. At this point, I use the milk thistle patches in the arch area of my foot (correlates to primary organs), the gold on my toes for neuro and the blue on my heels. I have severe arthritis in my right knee, and the heel pad correlates to my knees.

I'm convinced they have made a significant difference. I use them 5 or 6 nights a week, often on my whole foot. So far, it's been six months, and they're just as dark as they were the first day.

I did try using them during the day, but I couldn't stand the yucky, squishy feel. I also tried them on vulnerable areas (like my right knee). That didn't seem to do anything at all.

Anyway, I'm so glad other people are finding similar results and relief!

Just FYI, I took a write up of several things I've read about lately to my muscle testing doctor. When he muscle tested me for detox foot patches my body said harmful. What's helpful to some could be harmful to another.

Jordon , reading your post reminded me of me. Are you only rifing for lyme? Because that only got me so far. It wasn't until 6 months ago that I started using rife machine for others (bacteria, virus etc).

These guys are very territorial. As soon as one gets knocked down, another raises its ugly head and takes over.

Here's some programs that I've been running on a schedule:
Staph
Malaria
E-coli
Strep
Parkison
Chylmadia
Tetnus

Just something to think about. Sometimes you can't kill the big guy (lyme), until the little guys are gone. Same concept we hear on abx and lyme/co-infections. Only problem is most of the time we don't know who the little guy is.

We're all fighting different battles with the main enemy being lyme. Everyone is different.
That's why I find microcurrent KMT22 from Dr K that Gigi talks about so interesting. This machine sweeps the body for all these bad guys.

Take care, Pam

I use the pads, but I will also throw out there that if you are looking for optimal ways to detox and are not using an infrared sauna, you really should consider one. I think the potential benefits are compelling.

I tried the Gold Health Marvels pads last night.

This morning they were medium-brown, not too gooey. I expected black, with goo, the result most people seem to have.

Does this mean Gold is not right for me or that perhaps I'm not as toxic as I think?

I do take detox support as part of my regimen (Selenium, NAC, ALA, Vit C). And I did 3 months Cholestyramine last spring.

Tonight I will try Blue. The only other kind I ordered.

I have to collect urine specimen soon for Doctor's Data heavy metal test. (w/ DMSA).

Will the pads skew the results?

LC,
Where did you put the pads?

Cant, I'm glad you were able to sleep. When I use them, I tend to sleep straight through the night.

After 6 months of almost daily use, mine still come up really icky in the morning.

Andie-
I put them right across the middle of my foot.

Another observation.....my body temp's been pretty low lately. I am usually around low 97's for most of the month. Usually one week per month I'm around 98.

Last two night's that I've used the pads, I went to bed with temp of upper 96's. (Not out of the ordinary for me). But then I woke up at low 98.

Not sure if the pads had something to do with this or if it's a coincidence.

As I re-read this thread, I see that the color the pads turn doesn't matter that much, just how you feel. This morning the blue were medium-brown.

For what it's worth, I felt pretty decent yesterday. Coincidence? I dont know but my mind is totally open to these pads.

If you want to know where to slap on the pads on which ares of the foot that might be most helpful for your perticular symptoms go to:

http://uk.dk.com

Type in "reflexology"

Then click on " Reflexology interactive foot map.

It shows you what ares of the bottom of the foot relate to the different area's of the body

Karatelady or anyone else. Could you tell me where to put the patches to relieve my headaches. I am using Podi Patches. Put one where it says head and thyroid and the patch was unchanged after 12 hours.

No question that I feel better after just 3 days. I have increased energy and decreased brain fog. Now if I could just get rid of these severe headaches, I would be a different person.
