My husband just finished several months of mepron with zithromax and we did see steady improvement. His doctor is now switching him to tindamax and wants him on it for the next year.
My understanding is that it is a cyst-buster similar to flagyl (which he did horribly on). It looks like everyone pulses it with an antibiotic. I'm questioning if having him on it alone for a whole year is a good idea. We will be talking to the doctor in about 2 weeks.
Any opinions?
After one day on the tindamax we had seen a real downslide. After 5 days, he is much more weak and miserable than he's been in months. He's taking a little break to try to pull himself together. In the meantime he is working full-time.
Thanks.

I pulse tini one week a month. It definately brings on worse smptoms. Not sure a year of just tini by itself is something I could handle. Besides, I think you need another ABX to actually kill the keets. The Tini just opens the cyst from wha I have read.
I am not a doctor...........sounds like you need to talk to your doc.
