Yesterday I received this email from Josh, the guy who set up the chat room.
========== HI Friends,
Someone has offered to donate the funds ($ 75) needed to upgrade our Lyme Chat. Hoefully we'll have that up soon.
Be sure to participate in our Lyme Chat this Saturday night beginning at 8 PM Eastern time. Join all our great friends and our truly wonderful chat moderators, Joy, Lisa, and Karen, for an evening of fun and informative news.
SPECIAL MESSAGE>> We have created a new web site for people to buy and sell things . It's mainly for people from New Jersey, DE, MD and PA. If you would like to participate go to>>
ALSO, don't forget that WZFI-FM 98.5 is the most Lyme friendly radio station in the U.S. Even though the radio station is located in Southern New Jersey, you can hear it wherever you go.. Please consider giving it a listen! By helping our internet listenership grow, we'll be able to bring in more sponsors. If we get more sponsors, we'll be able to expand the station and have much more of an impact in Lyme disease education.
For those of you who take antibiotics (or those who seek improvements with digestion), we continue to offer PB8 acidophilus at the lowest price in the US.
For us, it helps tremendously as all your purchases benefit the Lyme Disease Audio Network.
For you, we provide the #1 acidophilus product in the US, at the lowest price possible and best of all, it is always delivered fresh to your door. Our acidophilus never sits on a store shelf at room temperature where it can deteriorate. We place the order direct to the factory and then get it out quickly to you.
TO ORDER>>>
For each bottle of PB8 acidophilus you desire to purchase there is a cost of just $14.50. Also, be sure to include $ 5.00 additional per entire order to cover shipping and insurance.
For instance: To complete the purchase of 2 bottles of PB8 acidophilus, please make out a check or money order for $34.00 to: Josh Burke
OR as another example: To complete the purchase of 4 bottles of PB8 acidophilus, please make out a check or money order for $63.00 to: Josh Burke
You may purchase as many bottles as you would like. There is no limit and also, no minimum purchase required.
Mail the completed check or money order to:
Lyme Disease Audio Network PO Box 192 Bridgeton, NJ 08302
We no longer have the flashing ads at the top, Yay!
Note: this chat room is text only.

justdon, if you only need to enable it there's place to check.
In XP 'cause that's what I've got.
From the start menu click on "Set Program Access and Defaults"
Where it says Custom, open that up with the carat thingy on the right.
scroll down to "Choose default for virtual machine for Java".
and click enable acces to this program on the right then hit "Ok".
I hope it helps. I'm kind of confused myself.
Good luck on your mission if you choose to accept it, Mr Phelps.

My son looked this up. He says to download it, and then "install" it.
Hope this works for you. Carol

Don, There is no password needed, except for the moderator.
The chat won't let you use a blank space in your name.
e.g. I can't use "Carol PA"
I have to use "Carol_PA"
Carol
p.s. I don't think it will accept a 3 letter name. Try something different.

Carol, It wont let me type 'anything'. No flashing little bar like it used to. AND I cant remember how I enabled it last week, too long ago for me. Went to basic settings I thought but tried that over and cant see anything familiar. Thanks for trying to help but looks like I am 'locked out' tonight. Only because I am --just don--

p.s. to Don: I found that if it won't even let me type in my name, I close everything down and restart the computer. Then it works.

This just may be our New Year's Eve fun tonight! I thought that I was feeling pretty darn good until I sat down for dinner. By the time I got up from the table, my whole body was hurting again! So............I'll join the Lyme Chat this evening instead of romping through the cold mist outside!

Marian, Close down all your windows, and disconnect your server.
Then dial up, and pull up LymeNet again.
