i know what yeast overgrowth is, i understand it, i have been on many of the links that others on this site have suggested, and i can see that a lot of the symptoms mimic lyme symptoms so how do you know to what degree your yeast problem is, i have a whitish tongue, not always, i take probiotic, what are some classic signs that you have yeast problem from your experience> thanks

Hi, I believe there is a simple spit test.
Use glass water. Spit in it, if it floats, not as active if it sinks, yeast active.
Hmmmm, or is it vice versa.
I am alot of help with this brain.lol SORRY
You can look up on internet/about Yeast & spit test.

I know that it is real, just check into it.
When tongue is white usually is good sign.
Most of us have yeast problems more often than not.
Hope helps tad...Kerry [confused]

thanks alot, i have tried this test but it is hard to tell, the main reason why i want to know is I think it is linked to my digestive problems and the fact that my bowels get locked up sometimes and i have been trying to figure out if it is lyme, meds DOXY, or yeast, i dont know but it is buggin me out, thanks for the reply, i am going to look it up again to make sure i am doing it right. thanks

Suggest to your LLMD that he/she give you Nystatin tabs along with any ABX. Thathas helped me along with garlic, probiotics, anti-fungal substatnces, etc.
