Hi there! Just worried... [Frown]

From your experiences, is IV or just oral abx enough to help with treatment progress?

I've been on just IV for 4+ weeks and now I have high liver enzymes, so the next thing is just orals...

I just wish I don't waste more time! [confused]

Be well,

SAK,

You can get well with just using orals but it takes more time.

My doc is big on bicillin shots. He thinks it works better than IV. I'm not sure what effect it would have on your liver though.

Good luck!

I have the same question, but in reverse. My llmd feels ins doesn't cover enough time on iv. He's confident oral will do the job, it just takes longer. I've been on oral for 1 yr and have made progress. So I'll keep plugging away.
