During this joyous Holiday Season when we have much to be grateful for and are in a charitable frame of mind, please remember the man who has been there to diagnose and treat chronic Lyme and tick-borne diseases for our children, grandchildren, nephews and nieces: Dr Charles Ray Jones. Please also remember the man who has treated many of our children promptly so that today they are not plagued by the burden of a lifelong illness.
On January 26th Dr Jones will begin his hearings with the Connicticut Board of Medicine. Long before that first hearing date takes place, the $25,000 retainer paid to his new attorney, Elliot Pollock, may very likely be already spent.
Dr Charles Ray Jones has been there to help our children seven days a week for many years. He has treated more than 7,000 children with chronic Lyme disease. Now, HE needs OUR help !
This is a man who marched with Martin Luther King. This is a man who puts himself and his career on the line every day for our children.
If you've ever pondered spiritually about what it would take for a person to be a real saint, you need look nowhere else!
This man's integrity and committment to children is far beyond reproach.
Please make a generous contribution ON BEHALF OF OUR CHILDREN by forwarding your checks to Dr Jones' accountant at:
"The Dr Charles Ray Jones Legal Defense Fund" c/o George Heath, III (CPA) 26 Fairlawn Drive Wallingford, CT 06492 (203) 782-4343
100% of your donation will go directly to the legal defense of Dr Jones. His case is critical to all children with Lyme and it's outcome will have a tremendous impact on all LLMD's in the future! We lost Dr Petrucha a number of years ago. If we lose Dr Jones, where will our children go for proper diagnoses and treatment of Lyme and other tick-borne diseases?
This is truly a CALL FOR ACTION ! If you should need further information, please call Dr Jones' office at (203) 772-1123.
Thank you sincerely in advance for your help !
Happy Holidays,
John F. Coughlan Director Massachusetts Lyme Disease Coalition

I just got off the phone with Sabre at Dr. Jones office. Things are moving along with a lot of stress for them, but they sounded good.
The legal defense fund is where they would prefer all checks go (versus their office) .
BE SURE TO PUT GIFT in the memo line.
This is important because it is considered income otherwise, and creates a whole other set of issues. The check can be made out to Dr. Jones Legal Fund, as a separate trust account is being managed by his accountant.
It looks like this whole thing may drag out for about a year, with a lot of motions being filed and fought in the interum. Please stay on the alert in case special letters are needed in the future. At this point no letters are needed unless you were contacted directly by the office
