If I was diagnosed in 2001 and treated with 3 weeks of doxy orally after a bells palsy, and then symptoms cleared up
and now I am realizing more and more that I have nero Lyme... is it possible to just have the same active infection? or could this just be a relapse?
Also, am I considered a "chronic" case?
I dont have arthritis or any of the pain that people describe... just memory and tremor problems (and a MRI with small lesions)
sorry if I am being annoying :-\

I would say that is chronic, yes and there is probably not much difference between the same active infection and a relapse (meaning the initial infection was never gone) vs. an entirely new infection/exposure. They may have been less active, which feels like a period of recovery and then reactived or became more active.
