We are not getting much sleep over here.

My teen was up all night last night and night before last also.

Have any of you had insomnia worsen with IV abx?
She is doing rocephin and clindimycin.

Could it be a herx?

We are looking into changing sleep meds to help, but would like to know the root of the problem.

She gets wired up and moodswingy.

If I don't stay up til she's down she doesn't sleep a wink.

Dana-

Tried Ambien which does nothing.

I was cranking benadryl a couple weeks ago because her picc site was itching and came to the conclusion it winds her up. Used to make her sleepy.

Have not tried the D one you suggested. (please excuse I am a sleep deprived lyme head)She takes clonopin, so that could be an idea.
I will look into it.

Sounds like you have some experience with insomnia. Does 5 stand for 5 of you having lyme?
Thanks a lot.
