Is Biaxin effective for Bart or Babs?

If so then I must be loaded with the buggers because I feel like I am back at ground zero here...

started to feel better on doxy after four weeks then added Biaxin and I am a mess--jaws ache, chest aches, lymph node underarm major pain!
HELP! PAIN! Anyone else?

I want to stop the Biaxin and stick to my safe doxy regimine (but I know you will tell me otherwise.) [group hug]

My doc is using Mepron and Biaxin for Babesia. I am unaware of it being effective for Bartonella - Levaquin is what I used for that.

Hi Human being

I started my babs treatment and have recently added biaxin to my doxy comb plus alot of other stuff.(mepron & Art.)

It is knocking me to the floor.

It is a powerful combo.I think it's hitting the lyme too.

I began last week for 4 days then 11 days off.

He's pulsing me.

After 4 Hellish days on,it took 3-4 days to clear the herx, toxins ect...But then I had a really decent rest of my week.

For me it's like, the worst my herx's are the better my 11 days off are sometimes.Everyone's different. And some don't go thru hell. All levels of herx's from mild to hell.

If you think it's too much for your body-you should call your doctor.

I took Biaxin + Mepron for bartonella, then Levaquin + Biaxin for bartonella, switched it up a bit and took Cipro w/ Zithromax or Biaxin too.

Mepron needs a macrolide with it to kill babesia, that plus artemesia. Biaxin made me herx really hard, many symptoms you describe & more. Hang in there! [puke]

Thanks for your feedback,
I cried over it last night but decided to keep going. My llmd didn't call back so I reluctantly choked the biaxin down.

Needless to say, hard to fall and stay asleep. I feel like a heavy lead blanket is on my body. Heart hurts, head and eyes hurt. My eyes are glassy and sick/flu looking.

My husb says to keep going too. It is so hard.
