I saw this story on a local channel last night.
This man was completely paralyzed, and over came these odds from childhood. He's now 60 years old, and is starting with weakness in one leg and fatigue. I was trying to locate the story, but not sure what channel it was.

This man uses a cane, and can only use a hand pedal bike to keep his upper strength. He's not feeling bad for himself because he's had all these years without any problems, and is thankful for that.

Is it possible he contracted lyme later in life, and they're attributting it to a post polio syndrome? Which is the fist I've ever heard of it!
I lost a friend at ten, and had another friend with leg braces.

I remember all of us children lined up recieving these inocculations, and how sick a lot of the kids got, including myself! The things that make you go hmmmmmm. [dizzy]

Tonight on the news they did a follow up about another person with post polio syndrome. She had to leave her job because of fatigue.

I wonder if these people had the polio vaccine or they already had the disease, and if they had the vaccine, what would be the purpose?
Seems odd that all of a sudden this is coming out.
