Does anyone else have experience with heart skipping beeps with Quinyne?
This happened to me when I had to take Diflucan once so I stopped it and swithed to nystantin. Just curious.

Yes, I know that Diflucan is not the same as Quinyne.
Diflucan caused me to have skipped beats and now so has Quinyne. Does anyone else have this issue with Quinyne?

hey snowflake
you may want to ask your doctor if you could be
having a die off in your heart.
What does your doc say about this?
I had heart skips really bad before treatment and then durning treatment really bad.
Now they are all gone. Thank God and my LLMD
hang in there..
heart skips are scary and should be checked out just to be on the safe side.

Hey there snowflake! Yes, quinine made my heart skip beats, do flip-flops and also gave me some extra beats. Seemed to occur the most when I was trying to go to sleep. Heart symptoms got better with time.
Hope that helps, and good luck!

I remembered this about Quinine and looked it up, the link below is a general overview.. but this is a class of drugs that can effect the heart, and irregular heartbeat is an adverse symptom.
I don't know what kind you are on (sulfate?) or what dosage (is it high?), but all the literature says call Doc if you have irregular heartbeat on this drug.
