Did she try taking it with food? I only take it ocassionally when needed, but if I try to take it on an empty stomach it can make me feel nauseaus. But at the end of a meal, I generally do not notice it. Hope she feels better soon! Make sure she does not get dehydrated....

How soon after taking the nystatin is she getting sick? If it's just after taking the pill, then it's probably the pill itself. If it's hours later, then it might be a herx reaction.

I know I generally felt sick when I was battling chronic yeast.

She seems to only get sick in the mornings. She feels sick all day but often it wakes her in the

am. And she isnt preggy....I cant connect a food or drink or substance....

She has high insulin level, 59 - normal glucose. Low globulin and high a/g levels. and they

found a nodule on her thyroid, want an ultrasound.

She is overweight. And LLMD thinks she does NOT have Lyme but high yeast level so we decided to

treat that. But the nausea vomiting was happening b4 the Nystatin just seems to be worse.

She takes it 3 times a day and cannot correlate it between the doses either. Frustrating for her but for me as well....

Is she taking the liquid or the tablets, or the powder???

What dosage of the one she is taking?

The liquid contains SUGAR so if she's got a bad case of yeast, it could be making it worse!

tablets...

we got into GI dr today and they found blood in her stool...we r scheduled for endo and colonoscopy.

I think I am going to stop the Nystatin for now and see what this shows. I so hate this for her

Thanks for your replies...

BTW - I was impressed with the GI dr. During his Q&A he asked if she had any joint pain!

Since I see some correlation wiht Lyme symptoms, inspite LLMD stating it isnt Lyme, I was impressed

I did NOT mention Lyme at all! Thought it an interesting question! KUDOS, Doc!! AND HE IS A DUCK!!

Hi cj - Sorry to hear your daughters having health issues also.

How have you been doing on your abx?

When you have the chance - could you please PM me the addy & phone # of Nashville LLMD? I need to have blood work done and think I'll give him a try.

Many thanks...
