I took it. I think I passed. Even though I had a brain spect that showed moderate global hypoperfusion.
I would say it doesn't give any more info than you already know. You know if your brain is working or not.
This test would not be specific to lyme, but to any inflammatory/infectious process that is going on in the brain.
Best, Timaca

- I passed this test, too. But, when I saw this doctor he said I was the 2nd sickest patient he'd ever seen. He seemed amazed that I was still standing.
So, the VCS test can offer some insight, but it's not always going to show damage.
In his office, he does a different kind of eye test that is more conclusive. Still, I already knew I was very ill. I did not need an eye test to tell me that.
Other blood tests done there were extrememely helpful, though. Not so much about lyme but some genetic tests regarding my tendency for fungal infections, adrenal tests, HLA, etc. so read all through that site.
As for the inflammation we all have, curcumin is one of the very best supplements and adding turmeric and cumin to food is a very good idea.
Magnesium and fish oil also help decrease inflammation. -

It's not a pill, it's a powder. Yes, I did try it. It's good for binding up toxins, but my LLMD was not willing to prescribe the Actos and the cholestyramine flared the Lyme badly. I could not take it.
When I got back from Germany (was there for Lyme treatment), I did take cholestyramine for a couple weeks because I had had mold exposure in the past and didn't react badly to it then.

Thank for replying. Did your LLMD say why Chloestyramine flared your lyme?
