no less than 250mg pill per day. But most use 250 x 2 = 500 mg a day. Posts: 1950 | From New Mexico | Registered: Sep 2001

See Trails post. I had to start very slow, since I herxed on a grand scale neurologically. MD should be adjusting to your tolerance and LFTS. The ideal dose is the 500 mg. It took me a long while to get there. Then liver functions were off so I had to be pulled off. Consult your MD for concerns or changes in symptoms.
Have strong days.

Right now most people are taking 3-4 doses of Mepron daily with 600-1200 mg Zithromax plus Artemesia.

Thanks everyone. My doc is starting me on 200 mg/day with 2 tsp/day Mepron. But I'm also on 400 mg/doxy a day. Just a little concern it's too much ABX. Any comments

It must be Mepron season ..... I am starting again too. Anyone taking 4 tsp a day? My doc wants to know who is rx'ing that dose. Also, are you going straight through or taking a week off a month?
PM me please(or reply here).
Thanks, robi
