Does anyone know if it is ok to take these two at the same time, or will the digestive enzymes eat the probiotics?

I sure hope not.

I am under a doctor's care who has me on enzymes and probiotics. He didn't say don't take them together. I actually take the enzymes with my meals (usually taken between meals, but doctor ordered me to take with) I take the probiotics before going to bed.

Hi Jelly!
This is a really good and really confusing question, since different brands of Probiotics have totally different instructions on the labels. I just go with those instructions, whatever they are.
My favorite probiotic says to take it on an empty stomach, so I take it in the middle of the night when I get up to take my thyroid pills. Bytakingthem at 3 am, I keep them away from the minerals that I take all day long.
I hope someone has better info than I do....I would like to know the answer to this as well.
Hope you are doing well....

Thanks to you both, I will continue to take them all alone on an empty stomach.

Klutzo, I did get your email on the genetic thing and do have a thought on that so I will reply eventually. Busy right now. [bonk]

Hi Jelly Bean

Digestive enzymes are taken after a meal to help your stomach digest food. I have tryed taking them in between meals and it has inflamed my stomach.

Probiotics are best taken on an empty stomach or 1 hour before a meal. This is because if you take them with food the stomach acid can kill too many of them.

Of course there are varing opinions on this and the best person to ask is your LLMD

Take care [Smile]
