Yesterday while lymenet was down i had a thought pop into my head.

See if you agree with this.

While on abx no matter which ones (exception of flagyl which i only got burning) i get simlar herx symptoms. I used to think 'what if it is yeast'

But if it was yeast wouldnt i get the same herx on the antifungal? I would think it would trigger the same reaction if the yeast was dying, and it does not.

Therefore, my theory is my herxes on abx are true TBD herxes and not yeast herx.

I do feel i herx somewhat on antifungals but it is a different herx...doesnt involve breathing issues etc.

My herxes on abx and anti-fungals feel the same. They are mild on the herx scale, mostly the tired run over feeling, back ache and aching fingers and toes.

well some lyme and yeast symptoms overlap...so depending on ones symptoms ... it could be really hard to tell them apart

outside of the fact if you just started taking something to kill yeast common sense would dictate that is probaly a yeast herx.

Someof the symptoms do overlapp for me but not all so I can tell them apart... but mostly I know because I started taking whatever to kill the yeast...

It happens right away for me.

Sorry this isnt to coherent... exhausted ...bedtime

I had a couple of periods where I could not tell the difference either. I have some difucon on hand. So when I suspect that it is yeast issue, I take 2 days worth of difucon. I usually feel the yeast die off right away and after 2 or 3 days worth of difucon I am good on the yeast issue for a number of months. I keep my yeast under control with frezzed dried garilic, grapefruit seed extract, probiotics, and essencial oils of lemongrass, cypress and lemon. The first time I discovered the difference between lyme and yeast I was quite relieved that I could get rid of at least one of these for some time.
