Has anyone experienced intense herx that leaves you gasping for breath, feeling like you are being stabbed to death all over your body? Can't find a comfortable way to lay or sit? An ongoing stabbing that feels like you will die? Stabbing all over your chest and back - mostly upper body?

Hubby sometimes has what he describes as lightening bolts -- sharp stabbing pain that goes down his spine from his brain to his stomach.
Has also had costochondritis from time to time -- inflammation where the ribs attach to the sternum -- went to an urgent care doc the 1st time as he thought he was having chest(heart) pain.
Hasn't had anything nearly as severe as you describe.
Hope you can find something to relieve your pain.

I mostly had one sharp pain at a time...not all over at once. And mostly in my abdominal area, I think. This was mostly resolved after 6-8 mos of abx.
