Hi all -

I am about to begin Dr. K's protocol here in Seattle. From what I understand their first line of defense is the requirement that I remove of all mercury & amalgam fillings.

Has anyone else had this done and seen positive side effects? Or negative side effects? Any opinions on Dr K's protocol in general? I'm hearing a few mixed reviews...

Wishing you good health and joy,
- B

I had positive results from amalgam removal. My lyme went into remission afterward until I was bitten again (in 2003).

There are mixed reviews on it. You can feel pretty bad after removal until you get all the metals out.

Dr. K generally has a good reputation for being a big help to people. His methods are sometimes considered somewhat off the wall because they're not just abx like some people are looking for, but I really like that he is so thorough and looks at all aspects of the illness rather than only looking at infection.
